I just got back from the game, I haven't felt like this since 2011. It has to be a very close second to watching the Bruins win the cup.
Golden showers for everyone
Awesome! What a great experience.
Yeah It was pretty cool. My contract here in Russia expires this week, so I will return to Canada on Friday. It's a good way to end my time here in Russia.

Makes "The Ugly American" look like a GQ cover shot. Disgusting. Hope that idiot does some time in the Gulag.
What?
The Brendan & Brad Show: That must have been a hard one for fans in Montreal and Boston to swallow — Brendan Gallagher and Brad Marchand, sworn enemies in hockey’s most bitter rivalry, arms thrown over each other’s shoulders as the victorious Canadian team celebrated its gold medal performance at the world championship.
Personally, it did my heart good to see Gallagher and Marchand together. We’re all Canadians first and everything else after. It’s also true that Marchand, the serial pest whose reputation for diving and cheap shots was fully justified, has emerged as a far better player than any of us thought he was.
When the puck drops in the fall, Gallagher and Marchand will be at each other’s throats again and fans in this city will hate the Boston star on sight, as Gallagher will be hated in Beantown.
But for one shining moment, they were a tandem. That’s as it should be.
For sure! Did you have tickets for the Final ahead of time, or did a lot of locals want to get rid of them after Russia was eliminated in the semis?
My tickets were a gift actually. I was given one ticket on friday, but when Russia was eliminated I was given another. Tickets started at $350 in the cheap seats, where I was sitting I was told $2000 on the secondary market. Plenty of Finns wanted tickets, so it was a high price.
Most people had tickets to both games, and sold their gold medal tickets however.
