"Michal Neuvirth's Flyers mask for the Stadium Series is here. It is created in a totally old school way, all inspired from Flyers awesome Stadium uniform. It's airbrushed in a very raw and rough style, some parts with only a brush so that it really look old. And as the true Storyteller it is, the closer you come, the more details you will discover, and the mask transforms in front of your eyes. Just as usual you will also find the castle from Michal's hometown, also created with a sketch pen. If you look at this from the front the eyes on the big Predators logos will make them look a lot less threatening than they're intended to be.

DaveArt had seriously produced maybe one mask all year that wasn't absolutely cringeworthy. He's so enamoured with himself it's hilarious. There's no such thing as a "storyteller" mask. It either looks good from thirty feet away or it doesn't. Dave's masks don't.

I mean, this year the Ottawa goalies have gone for 'tribute' masks and you know who they were masks for.

25 years from now, what would you pick as a Lundqvist mask tribute? A well-coifured face with perfectly groomed five o'clock shadow?

I don't think any of Daves clients have stuck with a common theme between mask updates since Rinne dropped the predator skull thing.

It thoroughly bugs me that he went out of his way to make a custom pad tribute but made the black triangles facing the wrong direction.

Unless that is not a custom tribute and is just a regular Vaughn design with the colors made to tribute, in which case it bugs me that Vaughn did the triangles in the wrong direction.

Either way, the triangles are wrong and I am bugged by whomever is at fault.

All DaveArt masks look the same.... cartoons, might be great for AHL hockey... look ridiculous in the NHL.

remember Rask's badass bear... why didn't that one last very long? Was it a special edition mask, or was Rask just smart enough to reject it?
