Canada beats Germany 6-5 (SO) in a pre-competition game. Canada was winning 5-1 at the end of the 2nd and Germany scores 4 goals to tie it up in the 3rd. Don't know how that happened.

goalie change in the third for Canada, is what i'd think caused the come back...just from an outside perspective, didnt watch the game, but thats what i would of assumed...Barzal and Bear for 6 points nice, good Seattle players...4 goals against Skinner in a span of 7 minutes in the third, not the greatest but good come back in the shootout

What Ekblad? He's not playing in this U18 tournament. Ekblad is not eligible for this tournament, he's 19. but if you want to catch Ekblad in a Hockey Canada sweater, then tune in on May 1 (TSN) when the Men's World Hockey Championship begins.

Finland called Robin Salo to the team so 3 underagers on defense. Salo and Välimäki aren't draft eligible until 2017.

Laine and Puljujärvi are the only underagers on forwards.
