Was wondering what your guys thoughts are on Walker Campbell and William Basque both playing for the Miramichi Rivermen? Kind of surprised no one has mentioned them yet.

Gabriel Vilardi, ranked 5th for 2015 OHL Draft, is playing at the CIHA. Great compliment to Brechan Maclean (PEI) and Matthew Grouchy (NL). Grouchy currently in top 5 scoring for OEMHLAAA minor midgets. Haven't seen much on those two. Any comments on those two? Nick Abbott (NL) is in the top 15 in scoring as an under anger, a 2000 kid. Player to watch for 2016.

Abbot is playing with the Ontario Hockey Academy and Grouchy and Maclean are at the CIH Academy. Both schools are in the Ontario East Minor Hockey League AAA

Is there a specific reason why you guys only did Quebec based?

Monctonian tourney is coming up so we waited. We will do an Atlantic ranking next and then combine for an overall.

Figured. I didn't want to jump to a conclusion but my assumption was Monctonian & CWG would be the biggest influence on the Atlantic players.

The NS team cut some of my favorite players for the draft.

The story of the pre-tournament was that the goalies are not good.

Not only did NS do this but NL done the same thing as well. There were a hand full of players that were really good but for political reasons didnt get the job. A real shame really.

Is there any word/scouting report out there regarding some other NB qmjhl draft eligible players from NB, to name a few , Alex Lavoie, Michael Joseph, Tristan Mercure, Samuel Leblanc, Samuel Bastille, Pierre Bourgoin ?

2015 qmjhl draft.

I've been reading a lot about the 2015 draft eligible NS players posted on the hf bords. Wondering about the draft eligible NB players, not much out there on them at present, read about two of them being Hoyt and Cyr, are there any more out there that deserve any consideration ?

A lot of good 99' players from various provinces, just a few to note:

PEI: Carson MacKinnon - F, Notre Dame Hounds

NS:Shane Bowers- F, Halifax Macdonald's
Keenan Macisaasc- D, Rothesay Prep

NL: Adam Dawe - F, Notre Dame Hounds
Ian Smallwood - D, Notre Dame Hounds

NB: Peyton Hoyt - F, Fredericton Canadiens Midget AAA
Ethan Crossman - F, Notre Dame Hounds
Samuel Bastille - F, Moncton Flyers Midget AAA

CWG will be the next chance we have to have a look at all these playing together against each other. All should be within 1st or 2nd round sections in this years draft.

That is a very, very bold statement

You forgot Mika Cyr , he is leading NB/PEI Major Midget League in scoring as a first year player.

I recant my statement about which Rounds we may see them drafted in, due to my lack of knowledge within Midget Hockey prospects in Quebec but those players listed are amongst the best within the Atlantic regions. Again we'll have to wait and see what happens at the Canada Games tournament.

19 Ben Reid with the SJ Vito's has been impressive lately. Competitive and good hands, could surprise people with where he goes in the draft

2015 draft.

I think there are at the very least 7 players from NB that haven't been mentioned in any discussion thus far in this forum, here they are in no particular order.

Micheal Joseph ( Mctn flyers) forward
Tristan Mercure ( Mctn flyers) defence
Samuel LeBlanc (Rothsay Netherwoods ) forward
Alex Lavoie ( Fredericton Canadian's) defence
Pierre Bourgoin ( Rothsay Netherwoods ) forward
Dominik Reid ( Ontario Hockey Academy ) defence
Jack Ryan ( Bishop Prep) goalie

Let me know what your thoughts are about the player above.

We were all surprised last spring when a few unknowns we're drafted ahead of some discussed here. Does a certain Noah Corson drafted by Mctn ring a bell ?
