Three important games for us to watch for tonight.

LA @ NYR
MIN @ NYI
WPG @ VAN
the LAK game is listed as on SNW, SNP & SNO; it is not on SNE because that channel will have the Habs/Preds and the VAN game on all 4 SN regional channels.

So go New York and Winterpeg eh.
Vancouver winning in regulation will allow us to potentially tie (and thus move past) the Jets with a win on Wednesday. Since I don't see Vancouver falling out of the playoffs I think it it more important to catch the Jets because it gives us a chance at the wildcard of we don't make it in our division. But as long as it ends in regulation I won't be upset.

Yup, a Vancouver win would be swell.

Looking at our remaining games, 5-4 is completely doable. The only condition I would say is we need to gain at least 1 point in that game vs the Kings.

No. Not even a little bit.

We aren't catching the Canucks. We need Winnipeg to lose so if LA does catch us we have a 2nd chance with the wildcard spot.

Well... that does sound better.

I bet 500 vcash on the Winnipeg though.. I guess the prospect of playoffs will make me feel better :D

All you hear about is how dominant the Rangers are right now. Except when they play our competitors, it seems.

It's really going to bother me if the Kings do in fact make the playoffs. 14 loser points. A number of passengers on their team such as Brown and Richards who do nothing. And yet they'll still be praised for "finding a way". Sickening. They don't deserve any success at all this year.

I don't look at it that way, personally. Loser points means teams can't beat them in regulation, and the fact that they have lost that many means they've been unlucky. Consider if we turned a few of our regulation losses into OT/SO losses. That would mean we were a better team, right?
