I like Hanifin and all, but Connor, DeBrusk and Konecny all safer bets right now.

I think Connor goes here, and that is fine.

Want to point out that after a slower 1st half of his rookie year, DeBrusk played at a 60 point pace in Feb, March, April and the playoffs.

In 2018 Anthony Beauvillier played at a 60 point pace, Travis Konecny at a 65 point pace

Wow good to know, i knew they were good but dam those are mighty good numbers. Good argument for like 5/6 guys here

Both number rises correspond with be moved up the lineup. You could say that's a good thing (that when given the opportunity they flourished) or a bad thing (that they produced thanks to linemates). Just putting the numbers out there since people started bringing up pace in the last part of the year; quite a few guys really improved (at least statistically) later in the year.

Kyle Connor. Konecny and Hanifin will be next off the board. It will be interesting to see how Hanifin responds to tougher usage this year, unless Peters keeps it the same.

Connor played at a 60 point pace over the entire year and ended up with 57 (76 games) ;)
DeBrusk is great though, I'd probably take him or Hanifin next

Konecny was 9th in ES scoring from X-Mas until the end of the year.

NHL.com - Stats

McDavid, Malkin, MacKinnon, Panarin, Giroux, Marchand, Karlsson, Dadonov

Those are the only guys ahead of him. Him not being on the #1 PP unit will keep his overall points lower, which is ok as it should keep his cap hit lower too! And before all the posts come about being a product of G and Couts, here is TK on his own against Bergeron.
