Sabres Summer Development Camp Dates? July 6-12

Any word on when Buffalo will have their summer prospect camp?

I doubt there will be any info until after the draft

An announcement won't come until some time in June. If I had to guess, it'll run July 13-17, aka the week after the July 4th weekend, much like last year.

After last year's camp, I too tentatively blocked the week of July 13-17th 2015 on my calendar.

However, I must point out that is not the week after Independence Day.

I was previously hoping to be in WNY for the camp, but will be on vacation in Vegas and Cali 7/1-7/8, so doubtful I can swing it (I have the vacation time, but doubt I can be away from work that much in 1 month).

Note to expats: The Rolling Stones* concert is 7/11 in BUF, so if the prospects week is before or after, there's a great bundled vacation if you have the time and wallet for it.

*I remember when their "Steel Wheels" tour was called the "Steel Wheelchair" tour - and that was 25 years ago, I think. I know they played Rich Stadium 1981 for Tatoo You (American) tour - didn't go, but had friends who did.

I was wondering if anyone had some inside info on when the Sabres development camp will be this summer. I know it is usually mid-July sometime, but would appreciate specific dates. I am trying to make some summer plans and come down from Ottawa to take in a couple of days and would greatly appreciate the info. Thanks!

Hampus Gustafsson Invited to Buffalo Sabres Development Camp

Merrimack College center Hampus Gustafsson has been invited to the Buffalo Sabres prospect development camp this coming summer, according to a tweet by the Amarillo Bulls, where Gustafsson played junior hockey prior to joining the Merrimack roster.

On-ice camp sessions throughout the week will be open to the public and an intra-squad “Blue & Gold Scrimmage” will take place on Friday, July 10 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the scrimmage will cost $10 and will go on sale on June 26, with an exclusive presale for season ticket holders starting on June 22. Tickets can be purchased at the Sabres box office and at Sabres.com.

An intra-squad 3-on-3 tournament will highlight the final day of camp on Sunday, July 12. A complete schedule with practice times will be announced at the end of June and posted at Sabres.com.​

Well, even if they plan on streaming it, I wouldn't announce it until you're satisfied with the ticket sales at least. I'd settle for a full archive myself.

Yeah, AFAIK. I think they're projecting that they'll sell most of, if not all, the seats with an Eichel vs Reinhart scrimmage.

The scrimmage is a full game. It should feature penalty shots instead of power plays and end with a shootout where every player gets a chance. That's how it usually works. The 3v3 tournament is a separate thing on the last day of camp.
