If you put those 9 forwards TEAM A in a time machine that took them to 2015 where they played TEAM B listed below in a 7 game playoff series, who would win in how many games. All the unlisted teammates and coaches are equal to their counterparts on the opposite team.

TEAM B 2015: Patrice Bergeron, Ryan Getzlaf, Jonathan Toews, Pavel Datsyuk, Marian Hossa, Ondrej Palat, Anze Kopitar, Joe Thornton, David Backes

Are the games being called by regular season rules or playoff rules? Cause if it's the latter, a lot of these murderers get a lot quieter.

We're in a golden age of young talent in the NHL. I think it would be a close series, but ultimately the young guns would win out, even if many of them haven't tasted much success in playoff series.

Palat was and still is an elite top-end player. In 2015 his on-ice impact was up there with Bergeron as far as possession and chance share.

In the playoffs 7 of the 9 best players are on team B. Except for Kane and Marchand, those guys are nothing in the playoffs.

Better because their teams won? Do these "2 way" guys come with Keith, Doughty, Lidstrom and Chara? MacK and Rantanen are "nothing" in the playoffs? PPG+ over 40+ games is nothing?
