2015-16 Roster Thread - Preseason Edition

Chris Stewart last year, not on his way out of the league: 81 gp, 14 goals, 36 points.

Dustin Penner 13-14, on his way out of the league: 67 gp, 14 goals, 35 points. (aka higher ppg)

edit: Dany Heatley 13-14, on his way out of the league: 76 gp, 12 goals, 28 points.

Penner and Heatley put up those numbers playing with Getzlaf and Perry. Stewart spent most of last season playing for a bottom feeder and his 14 goals and 36 points aren't that far behind team highs put up by Tyler Ennis (20 goals, 46 points).

We should keep the top two lines the same w/ the 2nd winger on both lines:

x-Getzlaf-Perry
Silfverberg-Kesler-x

Let our improved depth beat out the depth of the other team. Our top two lines are more then capable when it comes to outplaying the opposition. I just want them to find a suitable winger to stay with Getzlaf and Perry. That revolving door is getting old.

Heatley played 6 games for the Ducks in 14-15. He didn't play for us at all in 13-14 so giving Getz&Perry credit for his points is a tad generous to the twins.

Oh crap for some reason I thought those were Heatley's #s here, but the point about Stewart playing in Buffalo still stands.
