It's too bad Finland has been so decimated with injuries to their centers. Their offense is just not in synch with those guys missing.

People who lust for big ice hockey clearly don't watch much big ice hockey. The extra space is way better utilized by the defensive teams, you end with a game with more skating, less hitting and less scoring. It's like soccer on ice.

Määttä burned again, for the 15th time in 2 2/3 games. Can't see Lindholm playing this badly defensively, especially on big ice. Sorry Finland and Penguins fans who claim Määttä's vast supremacy.

Well no matter what happens you've got to think Rask will come home to Boston feeling a little more grateful he plays behind the team he does.
Finn's haven't been getting anything going and are lucky to still have a chance in this game.

And the Finns score-Canada is going to need to score-Tuukka is about to get besieged worse than he already has been.

Gotta say I like the NHL size ice better.

This is a tie game but it hasn't been that exciting-probably because while Finland has decent defense they aren't doing much in the offensive end.

Compared to the US/Russia game this one is dull.

Amen. I watched a decent amount of the KHL or whatever they aired during the last lockout, and I agree with this completely. Everyone assumes big ice automatically means a faster game, but I found it took the urgency and intensity out. It works for the Olympics because there are 3 or 4 teams of stars top to bottom, but in a normal pro league I don't think it's nearly as good

It's time for Crosby to do something in the 3rd period...he has looked pretty ordinary so far.

Crosby's such a fraud... If a player can't find any chemistry with anyone, including his own linemate, when do you stop and say it's probably Crosby that sucks internationally.

Hopefully Bergy and Benn are back with Tavares next game, that line was awesome
