I'm glad they're about to remove the EHT. There has been less and less interest for every year it goes..

Yeah. But it's a little sad too though. Pretty much your only chance to see them play live. But the quality of the games usually suck :shakehead
Is this the last year?

Yes, Only the Finnish and Russian tournaments remain (for 3 years), otherwise they'll play random international matches.

Znarok will be the new headchoach of team russia. but when dynamo will still play in the playoffs, the coach of russias 2nd team, Valery Bragin will do the job @ the oddset hockey games.

Finland looks much better on paper than Russia, who is that Ovechkin guy? We have superstars like Eetu Pöysti and Jyri Marttinen.

Based on recent performances on international ice Kontiola should be better than Ovechkin.

Public announcer trying to get a chant going on DURING PLAY, I sure hope someone told him to shut up...

I think it's not that bad idea if used wisely, because noise doesn't really affect the players. Just don't go chanting "Suomi" during a breakaway...

Nice PP goal, great set up by Konna.

Thats what they call WADA GOAL in murica! What a pass by Hietanen. Not just smart and accurate, but just right power in it, not too hard not too slow.

Finland 2-0 PP kontiola (hietanen)
