The guy has chemistry with Malkin, it might also make an angry Geno even more motivated to have his best friend on his team. I mean the guy was choked that Kulemin wasn't his line mate in Sochi because of their chemistry (as well as a bunch of other reasons but yeah...Kulemin IS the LW for Geno, besides Kunitz, which I think Kulemin can be a version of).

Listen, I can understand the Geno/Kulemin chemistry. So if he came here and played with Geno I would be all for it. The reason I don't want him here is with Bylsma, Kulemin will not play with Geno and will play with some one else and honestly I am not that impressed with Kulemin by himself. Sort of a similar to Kunitz for me. Kulemin seems very lazy and does not look like he likes to play defense(much in the same way as Ovechkin.) Unless we have a 100 percent chance he would play with Geno, ehhhhhhh no. I would rather have somebody else.

Calling it now, boys. Kesler deal falls through with about 20 minutes to go, Shero goes into full panic mode and scrambles to overpay for Moulson and Smyth.

Cap space is a limiter for many teams who might like to add, like Chicago. They have to be really creative to do deals. We're really one of the few teams who can freewheel a bit this year because of our LTIR situation. This is limiting the teams that can move on guys like Cammie, Vanek, Gaborik.

Yepp. These forward prices are really low. Why did Shero think finding a winger for Sid was "far fetched" exactly?

Two of the three teams with top wingers are in our division, and surely reticent about dealing them to us.
