To be fair, when you have as bad a defense as they have, I am not surprised they had problems regaining possession down low.

His Murray and Brière signing were "meh", and the contract he handed to Emelin is kind of bad. Not sure why he should be the uncontested winner in your mind.

Briere was good in the role he was given and brought playoffs experience. The Vanek trade was great. I agree with you that the contract given to Emelin sucks though.

Don't know why Murray won it. Lombardi and Bergevin were more deserving IMO.

Rask is a top 3 goalie and had the best season of any goalie this year. You sound sour as hell.
