Broll needs some love. Not based on pure potential but because he is close to making the show and has worked his ass off to be more than just a goon.

Broll, since 3 votes.

Very tough, can be a gtrat fighter for us that can play the game, upside of a solid 3rd liner. Big fan of Brolldozer. Players like him are very valuable.

Valiev, Toninato and Herzog to round out the top 20. HM to Devane and MacWilliam.

Totally agree - peeps voted by where the player was drafted not by who is the better skater, goal-scorer, hitter, back-checker, fighter.

Obviously thats not true otherwise Biggs would have been in the top 5 seeing as he was a first rounder.

Broll doesn't have third line upside. He doesn't have much more then 4th line potential.

I like him, I really do, but he's got ZERO skill, not an inch of it. He's like a less skilled version of Mike Brown. He does skate well and is obviously a very strong player and one that is pretty truculent.

I have no idea why he has more potential in this poll then the guys that went before him.

Who the hell thinks we're going to accurately depict the futures of our 15th-20th best prospects anyway? Odds are extremely high that they all suck and will never play.

Look at our polls from years past. Some of them probably contain 0 now-NHL players.

It's not like the voted prospect at #15 is that much more valuable then the #18 prospect. They are pretty equally valued and the potential is close to the same.

People get caught up so much on the position number.

After the top 10 ish, all the prospects are close to around the same value and potential.

Knodel will be one of the first couple of call ups. With the Leafs new analytics guy- E.K.'s game fits right in there with the stats- low turnovers- effective shot blocking but most of all a very aggressive stick. Look at Spotters comments of him after his first game " very efficient". The days of 4th line preditors and Plager Brothers defensemen will be over.
