McKegg has more upside but Carrick's game translates better to the NHL. I think Carrick is the better prospect but McKegg could end up being the better player.

geez, no love for Herzog ...thought he deserved to be higher. Carrick is a future 4th Line C, Herzog has top 6 potential. but, Leafs fans love their grinders...

then again I still have hopes Verhaeghe develops into a #1 Center too, so, what do i know

It's kind of funny how HF has Carrick as a 5.0 C, ranked 7th Center prospect on the team, and yet we value him 13th on our list. I realize it's just an opinion on projected value, but at this point i'd assume 90% of us don't have a Damn clue besides what we read here.

Fun exercise in pure conjecture. All we can hope is that 1/2 of these guys make it in some way.

Sam Carrick, Toninato, Herzog, Broll, McKegg etc etc.

I like stocking the College shelves with players for the future.

And Leafs fans overrate flashy soft Euro's.

McKegg should be the guy. I do get the love for Carrick, tho. We are a fanbase that loves our blue collar heros.

And Biggs is barely a 4 th line ahl player

All votes in him are wasted picks at this point.

Valiev, he will be a big riser for a lot of people next year. He will be comfortably in the top 10.

There are many players that fans have no idea about, but people do watch and keep tabs on the Marlies. Carrick being a 5.0c is pretty outdated.

I'm a big MacWilliam fan, but I like the potential of Carrick and Biggs over him... At best, MacWilliam will be a solid #6...

I get that - and I agree. It just seems our rating system is flawed as well. "What have you done for me lately". Then there's Biggs who still holds value but because he's a 1st rounder - he's a bust, rather than a project player. We have 7th rounders ahead of guys because of a good year/performance/tournament.
