We made a trade two days ago that no one in here would have turned down, and actually gave up good players to make it, even if it is still vetoed, we made picks that mattered to the new team, not the old one because "Dave" couldn't find time 2 days ago to say something but can apparently find time now to tell you? No one said anything about that trade until yesterday, and only after someone else mentioned the Vanek trade. So basically, a guy can pick 8 goaltenders and be responsible for his team, but now a guy can't make a trade and expect the same commish to say something before changes made cause problems for anyone having to go back on them? And this still has a chance now?

Your trades with Kyle were complete BS. He traded Seabrook and Luongo for Smith and Hamhuis. If he wanted those players so bad, why the **** didn't he draft them in the first place?

Why don't you ask him, and in the case that you, you'd still be the first to talk to him about these players between the two of us. But then you'd have to stop crying into your pillow, grab your ball and come back to the game like a big boy. Bring a mirror while you're at it, your trade is still up there

No. This isn't what we wanted. We just wanted you to not tell us what trades had to be. We told you to still veto, but it went off the chains before that, but you haven't been around to notice. We've had people pick WAY off base, we've had teams that have done ZERO picks, and it's not even the trades that killed it.

that's pretty much how i remember it DD.

everyone was mad, i was behind, everyone was like look - just act like a commish. Run the Draft, Veto crazy trades, be impartial. but not tell people HOW to trade or that it had to be even etc as long as at the end of the day it was 13-7-2 + spare.

that's when the draft board 'disappared' no one knew what was happening, Dave going how he wasn't going to do stuff, (wow words of prophecy) to which we said if things were going to stop now (this was round three? by the way) just let people know. then Dave was like whatever and the draft continued

this was also before the issues with DET took place, the long weekend debacle and so forth.
