Honestly 3 of these guys are basically gone from the organization and two more will never be more than AHL/ECHL tough guys. Voted the ones that don't fit that description.

Yeah the last of any potential are in this bunch.. then just two more votes left, select two, then pick the best of the worst.. and we will award the first annual Mike Cichy trophy (could actually go to Trunev).

I guess there could be some kind of debate as to whom between Fournier and Evans is the 5th... First four are very clear cut though.

Evans is actually a very good 7th round pick. I think because he didn't attend development camp and he's a relative unknown that people won't know what to expect. We will see as he goes to a highly visible college in Notre Dame

Should be higher, imo:
Tinordi should be no.1
Sherback should be no.1 or no.2
McCarron should be top 5
Hudon
Audette
Crisp
Dumont, no? (just surprised he's so low!)

Should be lower:
Beaulieu (top 5, but not no.1)

Starting from McCarron, every player has a huge downside. Hence why their placement may vary.

It's funny to see Gabriel Dumont, a player who saw NHL time in each of the last three seasons ranked 28th. I'm pretty sure the Canadiens organization sees him a bit higher on their depth chart than on this list ...

Some may opine that he has little to no future in the NHL. And this isn't a depth chart ranking.

How is Beaulieu not #1 to you? He's near the top (if not at the top) for highest potential ceiling and is near the top (probably at the top) for "Most Ready Prospect".

Who should it be then?

Feel like Condon should have gone a lot sooner, given the year he had, but I went with

Jake Evans
Jack Nevins
Daniel Carr
Mike Condon
Collin Sullivan

You quoted me with the answers to your question!;)

Beaulieu:
I like his smooth skating and PP potential, but...I still don't like his Defense 101. I'd put Beaulieu at #4-5 based on ceiling (full potential).

Most ready prospect(s):
Tinordi and Beaulieu, but...who knows? they may both benefit from 40+ AHL games.

Overall (full potential/ceiling):
1)Tinordi or Sherback
2) Sherback or Tinordi
3) MacCarron (his value will skyrocket in a 1 yr and a half to two yrs from now...imo)
4) Beaulieu

If I'm a GM (not with Habs)...I'm going after McCarron, Sherback, Tinordi...before Beaulieu, unless...my team needs a young PP dman prospect with ''PP specialist'' potential.

Starting from McCarron, every player has a huge downside. Hence why their placement may vary.

I'd prefer to think of McCarron as...top 5 (huge UPside or at worst...a good UP side).
Potential is salivating.
