Still think Nygren has the most potential and is the closest to the NHL.

I debated long and hard here but decided to go with Tinordi. Close to NHL ready, great reach, great size, smooth skater for his size, can be physical, has shown some improvement in puck movement. Should be a top 4 shut down D for us a long time.

Add Dalton Thrower.

Yeah Tinordi is just too close to the NHL to be ignored and this outweighs any kind of "potential" argument in favor of another prospect imho.

Add Thrower and Audette. I have them both ahead of players on your list like Mac Bennet, Ellis and Thomas.

Tinordi and im suprirsed that Scherbak is #2 in votes, imo DLR is easily our #3 prospect

Voted Scherbak but only because I have him, Beaulieu and Tinordi as 1a, b and c. I believe all are as close to sure-thing NHL regulars, in top6/top 4 roles, as we have in the system.

De La Rose could be a top 6, but could also slot in as a top 9 guy.

I'll say it... It just sucks that we drafted McCarron... I understand we like big guys and all... but we missed a lot of good players with that pick...

I'd 100% rather have Zykov and Barbashev than McCarron and Sherback.

I think they dropped it there.

Lets hope McCarron makes it.

I'd rather have De la Rose, Scherback and McCarron than Barbashev, Zykov, and Hurley, or Dauphin or Compher. It's all about perspective.

Zykov, Sherback and De la rose is still a possibility though.


All in all, I'm not happy with this pick. A first rounder should be considered to be one of your top prospect after one year.

He would've been a perfect second round pick. Not a first rounder. And I know I was excited about him on draft day, just not in the 1st.
