The production values are not great but still fun to watch. So far some good chances but a real lack of finish.

Hanifin reminds me of a bigger Pysyk but twice as good at everything already except skating which would be hard to do.

Eichel didn't seem that engaged until late. I'm here and off the puck he seemed to be floating. Obviously mean's nothing in the big picture

Everyone on the ice has been preparing for a hockey game. Meanwhile, he's been on a 48 hour media tour. I think this criticism is a little unfair, and he's still obviously the best player on the ice by a mile.

Relax. It's a simple observation of his play that period. He started going near the end.

Eichel has been making something happen every time he hits the ice. Nice finish by bracco as well

@coreypronman: Noah Hanifin a standout in the first period. Also liked Eichel, Bracco, Fischer, Novak, Foley, Gabriele, Lackey.

The third period should be great after that one. I'm expecting Bracco-Eichel to generate even more in the next frame as they look like they're finding their groove and looking for the win.

Yeah, to me that's just very clear going into the season, but there's also so much strong talent right after them that I expect at least one player to edge towards that group. There are a few great Canadian forwards, Zacha, and Kylington right there in that next group. Gotta love the USA talent that will be sprinkled throughout the rest of the draft, with a few possible top 10 guys.

Great play from Hanifin to steal the puck, then later a bad giveaway in his zone with a ridiculous recovery to strip the shooter. Then Eichel scores anyhow :laugh:
