We will finish 5th in the conference and playoff bound. We will surprise critics and go to the Stanley Cup finals. I will leave it at that.

Season Lines:

Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher (This line will stay together)
Galchenyuk-Plekanec-Parenteau/Sekec (I think Sekec will play most of the time)
Bourque-Eller-Weise (I like this line last playoffs)
Bournival-Malhotra-Prust/Sekec/Parenteau
Moen

Parenteau will be injured most of the time.
De La Rose will get call ups (no waviers required)

Emelin-Subban
Markov-Gilbert
Beaulieu-Weaver
Tinordi

Sorry Boullion, the game is faster and bigger now and you're 39 years old.

Price
Tokarski

Sorry Budaj, time to move on.

Habs have taken a huge step towards obtaining good puck moving D!

Fans will be bored most nights as MT deploys his grinder game.

Book that...

-We'll make the playoffs
-Galchenyuk, Sekac, Beaulieu will all make big contributions to the club
-Patches scores 35+
-Gallagher scores 20
-Eller continues to struggle offensively (but will be solid defensively)
-our bottom 6 will be awesome

Habs will make the playoffs on the back of Price playing another 70 games season. But won't go far when Price get hurt again, because he was overused. Off course if they manage his starts better, and still make the playoff well that another story.

DD has a bad start, line gets jumped after Sekac moved instead of PAP, but no Coderre tweet because he's .5 PPG.

Eller plays well for what's asked of him, yet misses a few games to injury. In the interim, Galchenyuk does well at C and Bournival proves extremely useful with Plek and Bourque.

Galch remains at C after this. Eller slots to LW and plays bad, prompting Galch back to wing and Eller on C. Nobody asks for Eller to be traded, as those 2, with PAP, play like a legit 2nd line out there.

Moen plays 40 games. Like Moen.

Tinordi ends up playing regularly for a while due to a Weaver injury. Everybody realizes Beaulieu can plays RD
As for Tinner, he's average, yet everybody wants him in the lineup because he pounds Chris Neil at some point.

Everybody likes the play of Gilbert, which is funny, considering he's the exact same player as Brisebois.

Another bubble team to join the other 10 in the East. If Gilbert is a #4, there are going to be problems. Too bad the Habs didn't pick up either Boychuk or Leddy, Bergevin needed to address their defence with better players and allowed those two to go to an Eastern Conference team.

Goaltending can take you pretty far and Galchenyuk looks really impressive this preseason, so timely goals and Price could get the Habs in the playoffs.

I think we will start out so-so, finish strong. Team has a few bugs to iron out on defense, Galchenyuk needs to work his way to center, Sekac will need to be in Calder voting or Habs need to add offensive player at trde deadline. I don't have ton of confidence in Parenteau. 4th in conference sounds about right.

Atlantic:
Boston, Tampa Bay and Montreal will compete in the Atlantic division.
To me, Boston is stability, Tampa Bay is the rising star and Habs have taken a step back in leadership that will take a little time to be replaced.
Tampa Bay may end up being the top of the Atlantic.

Pens were alone in the Metropolitain division but the unexpected winner may be Philadelphia: if Masson can pul it off, these guys started very slow and ended up top-3.
So Pens, Flyers and Rangers.

To resume:
Pens, Bos and TBL, Habs and Flyers

I agree with the Galchenyuk break-out season, I say 62 pts.

Price will be a nominee for the Vezina, maybe even win it.

Montreal will go out in 6 games in the 2nd round.

In the Atlantic it will be:
1-Boston
2-Montreal
3-Tampa Bay

Glen Metropolit division:
1-NY Rangers
2-Pittsburgh
3-Washington
4-Philadelphia (wild card 1)
5-New Jersey (wild card 2)

The only possible way for Price to win the Norris is if PK has a great season and wins the Vezina.:sarcasm:

My most bizarre prediction this season is Tampa finishing 9th... And I will stick to it.
Followed by the Pens finishing 1st... Which I will also stick to. ;)
