2014-2015 Predictions Thread

The roster is pretty much set so I figure it's that time when we start making predictions for next season.

For the team I believe we will win the division and conference again. I'd say the whole league but I think Tampa is going to bust out this year with a healthy Stamkos. If Pittsburg takes to their new coach maybe them. I just feel like the drop off between the good teams and bad teams in the East give them the edge for the President's Trophy.

As for individually:

Player-goals/save percentage

Getzlaf-25
Perry-40
Heatley-25
Kesler-30
Silfverberg-15
Maroon-17
Palmieri-20
Thompson-10
Belesky-9
Etem-10
Smith-Pelly-12
Jackman-4
Rakell/Karlsson/Kerdiles/Noesen/random call up-7

Fowler-7
Lovejoy-5
Lindholm-8
Beachemin-6
Vatanen-12
Allen/Stoner-1
Fistric-1
random call ups-2

Andersen-.925
Gibson-.920

Last year I was a little ambitious with the defense totals but I feel like these are realistic totals, even for Vatanen and Lindholm. That's only 10 goals more than what our group did last year. As a whole that 266 goals which is slightly better than last year. I really feel like Heatley is going to have a big year playing with Getz and Perry and improve our power play. I think Kesler is going to thrive. I would have given more goals to Silfverberg but I feel like he's going to get a lot more assists due to Kesler's goal scoring. The bottom fourth line guys were tricky because either Etem is going to spend time in the minors or Belesky gets moved. One way or the other I see Etem, Smith-Pelly and Belesky fighting to stay in the lineup. I think Palmieri and Maroon get consistent time due to their chemistry together.

Silfverberg improves. Palmieri might be moved. One of Etem/DSP likely to be in minors or Beleskey will be moved so eliminate one of the 13 goals each. Kesler, Vatanen and Fowler have big years. Beauchemin bounces back and plays strong defensively. Lindholm continues strong play. Allen is moved right before/shortly after the start of the season. Rakell takes over 3rd line center spot and him, Cogs and Silfverberg become a great 3rd line. Andersen/Gibson split games 52-30 in favour of Andersen.
