I don't like the fact that Subban would be the only right handed defenseman in your line-up, that would be a sick top 9 tho.
Yeah it'd score a enormous amount of goals with a very solid D. The issue is there are no real standout RHD in the 2014 UFA list, however there are so many great players. I do expect the majority to resign with their clubs as it always happens.

worse case scenario we can have gorges play with subban instead of tinordi (or a good UFA signing). and were eventually gonna have to call beaulieu up, cant have him play in hamilton for the next 10 years.
next year is going to be the most opportune time for us to revamp our D-core, alot of contracts are gonna be up and theres gonna be alot of good UFA's. our top 9 core is very soft and it'll stay that way for some time, we need to compensate by having a tougher d-core. all we need is 2 PMD anchors for our PP (beaulieu and subban), anything more than that is overkill imo. and emelin is a good 2nd line PP anchor.
we can always keep diaz but then we'd still get bullied by tougher teams, and diaz is a pure PMD (which historically are much more expensive on the UFA market) and hes still relatively young.. he wont be cheap. im not ready to pay diaz 3.5M a year

A lot of people said the same thing about Gallagher this year. Who knows? But I'd love to see Collberg with le CH in 2014-2015.

Forward lines will look similar but the biggest and most important changes will have to be done on the back end. Signing Girardi to 7 year contract would be the most ideal scenario but I don't see think the Rangers are dumb enough to let him walk. Mark Stuart or Seidenberg is a great plan B.

Lol no way Fucale is our starter in two seasons. Emelin is a 5th-6th defensemen, not a 2nd. There's no way Markov, Jagr, or Iginla will be signed by us two seasons from now either.
