2014-2015 GDT Sign-Up Thread

This is the sign-up thread for those that want to make Game Discussion Threads[GDTs] for the 2014-2015 season. GDTs are used on the nights of games the Wild play in order to keep discussions of actual play limited to a single thread rather than spreading all around the board in individual player threads.

Why is a sign-up thread needed? Because sometimes games are big deals. Sure, there are games against a random team nobody cares about on a Friday night that nobody will care about, but there are also those games against division rivals that will keep people talking about it for days.

This thread is to allow people who want to commemorate some of the events of the season by doing something special for the hfboards community.

And possibly win trophies.

Here are the current Wild board trophies with last season's winners:

The Jacques Lemaire Trophy - Most GDTs made during the regular season : Stopping Pucks (as HDZx)
The Andrew "Bruno" Brunette Trophy - Longest win streak during the regular season : Stopping Pucks (as HDZx)
The Doug Risebrough - Worst record of the regular season : Lapa
The Fans' Trophy - Highest winning percentage of the regular season (3+ GDTs in lockout, 5+ in normal season) : FUBAR McDangles (as tyratoku)
The GopherState Mail-In Trophy - Single worst/laziest GDT of the regular season as voted by their peers: N/A - Nobody votes for this
The Heart Trophy - Single best GDT of the regular season as voted by their peers: FUBAR McDangles (as tyratoku) : Wild vs Blues: Avengers Edition - Voted top-4 GDT in all of hfboards

RULES​

• Explicitly state which game you want to sign up for. Include the date and team the Wild play against. "Game against Nashville" doesn't really help anyone out.
• First come, first serve. If someone already claimed a game you want, you'll have to either choose another game or contact whoever claimed it and give them a good reason why you should have it instead.
• Please take no more than three or four at a time.
• If you claim one and then can't make it for whatever reason, don't sweat it. Just post in this thread or the OT/General thread and someone can take over for you.
• Just because some people tend to put quite a bit of effort and time into these, that doesn't mean that you have to put hours of work into them as well. Feel free to take any that you'd like! Just have fun with it!

If I missed any rules or anything else that should be in the thread, feel free to post in here or PM me. I'm on this site quite a bit and should have it fixed within a few hours of a message.

Haha still fixing mistakes and stuff. Anyway, adding the time/place columns to them, how do people prefer the times listed? For 7PM, for example, there are options of 1900, 7:00, 700, or I guess anything else. 700 is probably easiest to do quickly but can also get confusing if we happen to have an early game (ex. 11AM, which I don't think we do unless on some random weekend).

24 hour time also has advantages as well. 600, 630, 700, 730 and so on work for everybody? You can look at the Preseason schedule for examples if you want.
