The Official Rules

5 Forwards
3 Defencemen
1 Goaltender

8 Teams Maximum
Goal = 1 point
Assist = 1 point

Wins in Regulation/Overtime/Shootout = 2 points
Shootout Loss: 1 point
Shutouts: An additional 2 points on top of the original win

Ex. 4-0 win Canada vs USA F... Canadian Goalie gets 4 points
Ex. 1-0 win Canada vs USA F/SO... Canadian Goalie gets 2 points, USA Goalie gets 1 point

I made one of these back in 2007 but I was out of town last year during Christmas and thus unable to continue the tradition. It's a little late to get started but I think we can still make it happen if we have some committed members.

Haha! No way, forgot all about that! Glad I was around today, I always seem to miss out on this thread.

I remember feeling terrible about that team in '08-'09 because I thought I had too many Oilers prospects. Eberle, MPS, and Big Teemu ended up having great tournaments though, that was a fun couple weeks for Oilers fans.

Last year it looks like we started drafting on the 20th, and I thought that was a little late. I'd say we should start Wednesday or Thursday.
