I'm thinking 48-40-88

The PP will have to be more diverse and he will have to play a more responsible game under Trotz so that may cut into his goals, but he should do better ES and assists will go up. A better RW, more skill on the PP, a healthy Green(????), an awake Backstrom and improved possession may mean more assists, too.

I was thinking those exact stats pretty much.

You all are much more optimistic than me. I haven't seen anything that shows he's ready to be back in the 85-95 point range.

Ovechkin was on a 83 point pace last year, and while he enjoyed a great GPG streak, he also had to endure Oates coaching and Beagle centering.
So it's not some big jump, especially as our top 6 will have new talent, breakout will hopefully improve, and we already see the effects of new defenders.

My estimate was very conservative but rethinking it I wouldn't be too surprised to see the goals drop by a few and the assists really increase since Backstrom and Johansson had such a brutal shooting percentage at 5 on 5 last season.

I think he'll hit 50 goals again, and his assists will jump hugely. The low shooting percentage of his teammates can't possibly be as low this year as it was last. *fingers crossed* If Fehr truly does become his other linemate, I can see them both getting plenty of points.

So, 50 goals, 48 assists.

He was also on a 95 point pace in 2013.
