we have multiple channelss for HNIC now, so since Roger's owns the rights they probably want each channel filled and since there were no other Canadians teams to fill that slot, they go with what they think would draw the highest ratings

I counted 14 including one against the Rangers in both ends. One oddity was four games against Buffalo and Columbus in an alternating sequence.

Flyers schedule out but I hear good chance Flyers could be part of stadium series. Would play Penquins at Penn State Beaver Stadium.

The schedule simply does not set up for this. First two games vs. Pittsburgh are back end of back to backs. The last two are in April. While both teams have two days off before the April 1 game, the league simply is not going to have outdoor games in April, that would be silly.

I thought the game the day before the carnival was always a noon game. Am I wrong?

Seems like they could be cutting it close on time to have a 8pm game, and the carnival the next day.

Sorry for the delayed response. The schedule has varied as to the prior game. One year there was a 7:00 p.m. night home game prior...around 09 or 10. I can check.

Edit: It was in the second half of the 2009-10 season, 7 p.m. game vs. TBL.
