Bruins then Devils? Solid chance to start the season 0-2. If game three is against the Rangers, maybe Berube gets fired? :sarcasm:

So the Sharks will be witnessing when the Kings raise their banner. Ouch.

No better time to play a conference powerhouse than the first game of the season when everyone's still trying to shake the cobwebs.

You **** up that bad and you deserve to watch the banner raise

They should make the Sharks players raise the banner by hand.

I remember when the Flyers were going to lose to Boston to start 2011-12, so...

Lol people are silly saying starting 0-2 or even losing the home opener. We haven't even had a trade or the off season really kick into gear yet, this team will be different in my opinion, especially on the back end. Mobile defenders who can move the puck well and actually play in our zone.

I feel we are in for a good off season and a great season next year.

82-0 and they will win every game 8-0 or 8-1.

First look:

Kings come to town October 28
Rangers come to town for the first time on Black Friday -- look for that to be NBC, which starts a home and home with the rematch the next night in MSG
Holiday road trip December 20 - January 3. Flyers home January 6.
Flyers only play Pittsburgh 4 times, and two of them are in April
Flyers don't hit Western Canada until mid-March
Finish with 5 of 7 at home, which should be a huge advantage

Rangers/Flyers are going to be on HNIC?!

You know Canadian hockey is struggling if they go south of the border for HNIC.

It's not the same HNIC. Rogers puts 5 games on at once for HNIC. Network is undetermined, but one will always be two American teams.

Looks like the schedule presents a good opportunity to finish strong.

I just wish there were more bottom feeders for us to beat up on.
