...and just like that, we're gonna be healthy again up front except Backs.. I thought Stajan was projected to be out for longer, but whatevs. I guess this means so long Sven and Ferdaddy for now, and hello press box Seto and Bollig

Really, really happy Stajan is close. Lord knows we could use his vet presence down the middle. That will allow us to shelter Granlund a little more and play him against easier competition.

But I'm guessing he is out until the New Year at the very least.

I'll say December 27th against the Oilers... He returns just in time for me to see him live at the Dome! A little early Christmas present for me

Meh, when I hear abdominal procedure I am thinking something like a sports hernia which has a recovery time of 3-7 weeks.

If you're really cautious you can come back from a sports hernia in 4-5 weeks

My guess is the later since they will be taking extreme precaution this time, and not rushing back

Skating =/= practice, workouts, or playing. Heard he just got abdominal surgery... will be out at least until January is my guess.

I thought Stajan was going to be out for the longest of the injured others, but he's back sooner than expected. What happened to Colborne's day-to-day?

Absolutely cannot wait for him to regain match fitness, as for our other centers too.

This is one of those situations where I hope we get guy back one at a time. Get Stajan first, work him in as fourth line centre for Knight. Then Colborne, and work him in at wing, moving Byron back to the right side. Etc.

That's really gotta be exciting for a young kid. I'm sure it gets him motivated to be a part of it.
