Hm... I think I'd still give it to Ekblad. The way he has just stepped into the NHL and just made an impact right away makes himself the most valuable rookie imo.

I thought Mackinnon's playoff showing pushed him far ahead of everyone else. Would be the case but I'm looking forward to see if Ekblad and Panthers reach the post season
