Reo-C is basically kevin bieksa.

So many awful plays, and a few really good ones.

Frustrating player

What a fun game.

Not sure why Watson got a card when he clearly got ball 1st.

Manneh can be frustrating, your right, he has a poor first touch, but he does look dangerous. I would way rather have him out there than Hertzog.

Fugly half of soccer.

Whitecaps are working their ***** off, battling for every ball, and holding a good defensive shape to limit Portland's chances ... but wow, is their passing bloody atrocious tonight. No execution whatsoever.

Edit - a$$ is censored here now? Seriously?

I said it once, and I will say it again.

Harvey has been not only our most consistent player this year, but the most under appreciated.

Career year for him

Under appreciated maybe but I wouldn't say he's the most consistent. He's had his share of poor games.

Ousted looked more or less indistinguishable from Knighton for me — ball distribution is supposed to be a strength of his, and it looked pretty much the same as always, I thought. Does call into question the cap allocation here again, given how thin the team has become on the back four after inexplicably dealing Rochat.

And on that front, Rusin going down is another big blow to that back line. It's like Canuck defenders — even if you're #8 on the depth chart, you're going to see a lot of minutes on this team, it seems. Really wish they had some more options. Are we going to see Reo-Coker as a back, and more of everyone's favorite holding midfielder in JMD? DeMerit and O'Brien are both due back soon, but no matter when, you're always afraid of overplaying guys like that.

Gutsy to pull out the point tonight, but I'm definitely a bit worried moving forward.

Our back four is gonna look pretty greasy with Rusin out until AoB and/or Demerit returns. YP is an anchor but Leveron, Watson and Mitchell hardly inspire confidence.

Can you imagine what this team would look like fully healthy?

Fairly poor play from both sides in the first half. I'm equally impressed with Miller's ability to push the tempo as I am with his ability to completely kill momentum with dumb turnovers.

This game is ripe for the taking with strong second half.
