They still should have won. Jets played well, but if ATL's coach isnt a total chucklehead tonight they win that game.

I'm totally flabbergasted that he went Prevent defense when the Jets had all their timeouts and only needed a field goal to win! It's like he either didnt know the score, or doesnt know what Prevent defense is used for. LOL He basically handed the Jets the game!

the falcons don't really have any defense besides prevent, all they do is try to hold the other team to field goals and hope for turnovers.

they're going to have to rebuild before they can take another run.

so who was it that had the bet on Calvin Johnson vs. Julio Jones for most yardage this year?

:sarcasm:

Calvin wins.

Jones out for the year.

@JayGlazer
Breaking: Falcons fear Julio Jones likely OUT for the rest of the year w a foot injury. He's getting a second opinion tomorrow to determine

I'm so glad that I chose to watch this game and miss the Edmonton debacle involving the Devils(yeah they managed to get a point but they had a 3-0 lead on a bad Edmonton team, blew the lead, got lucky with an Elias bad-angle shot to get it to OT, and then lost in the shootout).

A tremendous....TREMENDOUS win by the Jets. No one here(not even me) thought they had a shot but they shoved crow down everyone's throat here last night. And let me just say that it needs more salt. :D

Now I'll hope that Geno takes this performance and brings it to the Steeler game this sunday.

J...E...T.....S.....JETS....JETS...JETS!! :handclap:

I'm in a 0.5 PPR league. We use a standard lineup format. I have Peyton Manning as my starter and RG3 on the bench. My RBs are Spiller, Bernard, Wilson, and McGahee. My WRs are V-Jax, Boldin, Nicks, and Thompkins.

If I get an offer of a stud RB/WR and a very good RB/WR that would start, should I trade Peyton? I know this is vague but I am just wondering where Mannings value is at right now.

Im in a 0.5 PPR league and need help here...

RB (one of them):
Bernard at Buffalo
McGahee vs Detroit

Flex:
Nicks vs Chicago
(or one of the above RBs that you didn't pick)

Thanks!

both RB's. Detroit gives up the run and Bernard should have a good game against a hurting Buffalo team too.

Giants are due for a win and big game but honestly I can't put any faith in them right now for fantasy.

Gotcha, thanks RG. I could start Nicks over Boldin at WR. Should I even consider that?

At the risk of getting flak from the giant fans here - I wouldn't.

I know Boldin hasn't delivered to expectations since week 1 but I think he will get it going still. Davis back healthy now will draw more attention and open him up. ;) Plus, he's playing his old team - nothing brings it out more.

Peyton has to be totally untouchable right now. I mean, if someone is offering you McCoy, AP, or Charles along with maybe a 2 WR then I might think about it but even then I probably wouldn't do it especially if you don't have a solid backup QB.

If anything I'd try to trade RG3 for 'either' a starting WR or RB (ideally a RB since Spiller's taken a step back and your other guys have question marks) instead of getting cute and dealing Peyton.

My trade deadline is the Wednesday going into week 11 so I'm gonna wait until after Peyton's bye to trade RG3. He has some nice matchups coming up and week 9 he plays San Diego so he should do well for me then. After that I gotta try to get a RB or WR for him. Maybe package him with Boldin or Nicks.

Has anyone ever seen a 26.5 point spread in an NFL football game before?

That's like an Alabama vs. Kent State sortof thing.

Well the Jaguars are basically a college team, with the exception of a few guys, and with how absurd Denver's offense has looked, its not that big of a surprise. Still, if I had the bread I'd bet on Jacksonville covering since they actually do have a couple threats on offense who can put up points and Denver will probably take their foot off the gas midway through the third.

Apparently Jags-Broncos is the largest point spread ever in the history of the NFL. The previous largest was 26 points when the Steel Curtain at the height of their power in the mid '70's faced an expansion Bucs team in the middle of its 0-26. That game ended 42-0

Is that right!

I knew I wasnt crazy.

I've been casually betting NFL football for many a moon, and I've never seen anything like that before. :amazed:
