:oilers
Seth Jones.
Get an absolute powerhouse on the back end.

:jackets
Nathan Mackinnon
Much needed franchise centre to go forward with. Can see 85+ point potential there.

:habs
Aleksander Sasha Barkov
Dynamic forward for the crop of young players they have. Same offensive upside as Mackinnon but not quite as well rounded IMO.

:isles
Hunter Shinkaruk
Great winger for Tavares.

:leafs
Sean Monahan
Adresses the centre need and will be good for the Leafs.

:ducks
Curtis Lazar

:wild
Anthony Duclair
The Wild's prospect pool gets even better.

:pens
Kerby Rychel
With such a talented young D core, Pittsburgh adds to their tremendous group of forwards.

:jets
Ryan Pulock
Building a very talented D core.

:bolts
Hudson Fasching
A bit of a stretch at 10 perhaps but I really like the upside here for Tampa.

:caps
Josh Morrissey
Good young defensive defenseman to compliment the forwards.

:sabres
Rasmus Ristolainen

:stars
Elias Lindholm

:sabres
Jordan Subban
All three brothers in the same division.

:sens
Valeri Nichushkin

:capitals
Robert Hagg

:sharks
Eric Roy

:blackhawks
Zach Fucale

:flyers
Adam Erne

:flames
Connor Rankin

:penguins
Madison Bowey

:panthers
Andre Brakovsky

:bruins
Max Domi
Mostly to piss off his Dad, still a great pick.

:blues
Jacob de la Rose

:canucks
Nikita Zadorov

:coyotes
William Carrier

:rangers
J. T. Compher

:devils
Ville Husso
Take the second best goalie available as Brodeur's heir.

:kings
Sergei Tolchinsky

EDIT: apologies for the Logo failure, took me a while to figure some out and apparently I'm limited to 24.

The Oilers would take MacKinnon #1. No doubt.

I wouldn't be so sure. Between Mackinnon and Jones there is no clear BPA, from what I've seen of them both. I think, given their current situation, they'd go with Jones.

If they add MacKinnon,

Hall - RNH - Eberle
Yakupov - MacKinnon - Smyth

Damn good current situation top six.

Anyways oilers aren't going to be getting a top 2 pick. Look for them to target Pulock. bank on it

I agree, I expect the Oilers to be picking in the 8-14 range. Hagg, Subban, Ristolainen or Pulock are all talented defenders expected to go in that range.

The idea behind this mock is rediculous.

Atleast make it off of last years final standings (no lottery or traded picks).

I would say the opposite, mackinnon has higher offensive upside and barkov is more well rounded.

Also, I doubt Subban goes in the first round at this point let alone that high in the first round.

Sign me up for Monahan if we have that terrible of a season, but somehow I think he rises to top 3 status, with Barkov falling over the course of the year (not because of his own ability, but because of other risers). Watch for Elias Lindholm to crack the top 8.

There's no way the Devils or Coyotes pick that low, and there's no way the Oilers or Stars pick that high. I'd say Devils pick somewhere in the 6-12 range (and I'm a Devils fan) and target Elias Lindholm and the Coyotes land in that range as well and target Kerby Rychel. Stars wind up in the 18-22 range and target Nick Sorensen or Adam Erne, and Oilers end up in 6-12 range and target Ryan Pulock or Eric Roy
