Skapski took over in relief last night, and ended up losing in the SO. He played well, though. His past few games he's been very strong:

.933
.981
.897
.953
.958

Eight nights ago, his team was out-shot by 20 but won. Skapski stopped 51 of 52 shots that game. It would be a boon to the system if he emerged as a legitimate goalie prospect.

Buchnevich is still out. He was concussed, and it looks like the team may have been too quick to bring him back. He played a few days later, but was out midway through the game and has missed the past couple Severstal matches. Hopefully, he's okay. He's too ****ing young to be dealing with concussions.

How has Tambellini accrued 31 PIM's in college? Thrown out of a game?

I hate not hearing anything on Noreau. I am high on his skill-set, something the organization needs more of (among other things).

Hoping Kantor can improve his offensive game in the AHL in the 2nd half.

Sam Noreau?

His skill set is not that high by any means.

Could be wrong, but I'm almost positive he was ejected from a game for a hit from behind.

The fact that he is probably the best pure fighter in the entire organization is a skill-set.

I wasnt considering that a skill, but I guess it is. Thought you were talking about like an offensive skill set.

I think he has a Stu Bickel-like projection. Noreau is a considerably better fighter and probably a bit better of a skater, but they're similar. It's nothing to get excited about, but that's actually good value from a fifth round pick.

Is there any word on Buchnevich and his concussion?

I haven't heard anything, and I've been looking. Severstal doesn't play again until Christmas. Hopefully he's back by then. If not, there's some real cause for concern.

I don't think so.
Me either. Noreau is an excellent scrapper, hard punching lefty. Haven't seen any report on him but he's played in 20 of the 24 Greenville games. No points, 3 fights and a minus 1. Hope he can make the jump to Hartford next year.

Duclair had a goal and an assist tonight as his team lost 4-3 in a shootout. He got stopped in the shootout.

Anyone see what Kyle Beach did tonight? Noticed he got a misconduct for abuse of an official. What a meat head, couldn't see that coming a mile away. What an awesome pickup.

Ryan Graves is having a very underrated season.

He's having a good season. Your saying he's having a 'great' season ?

His team is very interesting, some good prospects that will be selected in the next few entry drafts, hope his team becomes very competitive so he can continue to grow.

No, I say underrated because no one's really talking about him here. Similarly, Troy Donnay is having a fantastic year for Erie. I know this fanbase is sick of defensive d-men but it's great to hear about the success of Skjei, Graves, and Donnay given our recent struggles.

Charlottetown is a weird team. A lot of great players but they can't sustain any consistent success. Watch out for Danny Sprong, Will be a top 10 pick next year IMO.

Duclair just got his 50th point of the season, same number as his complete season last year.

2012-13: 50 points in 55 games (20 goals)

This season: 50 points in 35 games (29 goals)

Edit: Now at 51 and nearly got the 52th and 30th goal... he hit the post on the empty net!

Forgive me if you've answered this before, but what do you see him developing into?

I've always thought Evander Kane is the best comparison. Duclair mentioned Kane as well to compare his game. E.Kane-light is my best guess.

Speedy winger for the 2nd line at best.

What I like is that he plays the PK this year and with his speed he's good at it. He has scored 3 goals and 1 assist so far on the PK.
