Thought it was time for a new thread. :)

I didn't include the guys heading to Hamilton. As usual, for those prospects please use the Hamilton/Wheeling sticky.

With the preseason starting tonight in the Q, any chance that Jeremy Gregoire will dress for Drakkar? I'm not expecting Hudon to dress tonight.

Thrower not heading to the AHL ? :dunno:

I would assume he'll need a really good camp to get signed and turn pro.

Probably not. Hamilton is looking pretty full.

I'd like to see Hamilton add another defensemen, hopefully a veteran LD. I'd like to see them carry 8 D.

So, are we losing Dustin Walsh tomorrow, or giving him a shot?

I don't see him getting signed.

People in Gatineau are going overboard with him right now... geez... of course he's dominating the scrimmages, he's playing against many rookies who won't make the team.

I must say he's really caught my attention, I didn't like his effort in his own end but clearly he's very skilled. I am looking forward to watching him this season.

I'm kinda hoping Habs push Thrower to play the final year in the WHL as a RW rather than D kinda like how Myles Bell went from offensive D to RW. I think he'd have much more value/success as a bottom 6 gritty 2 way forward - essentially a Prust clone.

Gregoire played, not hudon.

Gregoire looked like a man amongst boys yesterday, scoring 2 and flying on the ice.

look like he is more fast then last year.

for comparable he was much better then Dauphin.

in fact hudon haven't practice with the team yet, I wouldn't expect him to play tonight. he'll take it easy and focus on the season/habs camp.

I can't wait to watch the new Moosehead Nick Ehlers go into action against Cape Breton's Eagles on Saturday night. Should be really entertaining watching the young Dane light it up.:handclap::handclap: Just listened to an interview with Nick Ehlers and the kid can speak fairly good English for just arriving in Canada, he says that you can't be a good player if you're not a team player. He's already got my attention, I hope Timmins is at the game tomorrow night, getting the jump on all of the other head scouts.

Speaking of Grégoire, last night the guy covering the Saguenéens for the local newspaper said that Grégoire was much more faster compared to when he was with Chicoutimi in 2012.

Menés par l'ancien des Sags Jérémy Grégoire, qui a clairement amélioré son coup de patin, les visiteurs ont profité de quatre pénalités de suite aux Sags pour s'inscrire à la marque, mais également prendre un rythme dans cette rencontre.
Good news.

Was thinking about who Coco Crisp reminds me of and I finally put my finger on it: Matt Martin when he was in Sarnia. If absolutely everything goes well, that's the kind of player he could become.

Hey habsprospects, was Boudens invited for the training camp or the rookie camp?

'Cause I went to Drummond tonight, and I didn't know he had that kind of hockey in him. His offensive game looked better than what I remembered.

To the rookie camp, he'll have to deserve an invitation to the main camp, be offered a tryout in Hamilton or even be directly sent back to Drummond with a contract. There is no certainty that Drummond will have a spot for him as they have four 20 years old for four spots.
