MacKinnon living with Giguere this year.

Poor guy had no choice but to take MacKinnon in after Roy made it public.

Going by the Avs site photos, I see Landeskog had the 'C' on, but looks like no one had an 'A' on. Looking forward to seeing who Roy decides to be the assistants.

Giggy better keep an eye on Mac. You know how 18 year olds can be.

Anyone at the B/W game feel like doing a write-up or summary of who looked good and who didnt?

Specifically Bigras, Malone, and Heard

Stastny had an "A".

Shootout sucked, except Landy ate it after his goal.

Malone played great. I'll post more later. Bigras got overpowered a bit today.

I'll look forward to reading your write-up, especially because Roy apparently singled out Bigras as having a good game

Also, was anyone else wearing a letter? (Duchene, O'Reilly, EJ, etc.)

Top two lines were trying to overpass lot. Maybe got too fancy.

MacKinnon struggled a bit but seemed to do well on faceoffs. Downie wa great. Great patience on both second and third goals and his pass to Malone, who was joining off the bench, was a beauty. McGinn's goal was a great shot, just turned around and launched it over Pickard's glove.

All goalies played well. Milan had a beauty save on Benoit. And Benoit played great again. He's very efficient, moves the puck well and is a very smart player. He was with Barrie again, who was flying.

Elliott played well today, a nice bounce back. He was with Hejda.

Bigras seemed to get outmuscled a lot but he recovers well. He's very smart. Once again paired with EJ, who also played well.

Brad Malone was great. He hit everything that moved, including smoking Guenin along the boards, and scored a goal on a nice Downie feed. He'd be such a good fit with the two big guys on the 4th line.

I haven't really noticed Siemens all that much. Only time I did tonight was when he was icing it a lot and when Olver destroyed him along the boards.

Holden is a solid player. I also really like Lauridsen. He's a big guy who can move and seems to have good skills.

Paul Carey continues to impress. He's got decent size but he can fly.

Colin Smith showed off a lot of skill this weekend, and was rewarded with a goal, even if it was lucky. He put some moves on Stollery behind the net, using the back of the net to dangle around him.

The MacKinnon line needs to gel. They don't appear to have too much chemistry. The other lines definitely do.

Only Staz had an "A".

Dudes got some pictures with MacKinnon and EJ. Freakin awesome.

Colin Smith was the best player on the ice for me.

EJ looked slow at beginning and then beasted it when time went a lot. McGinn also looked great. MacKinnon didn't look too bad, but didn't look great as well.

Elliott and Barrie both looked great. Sarich also had a good game.

Millan was once again the best goalie and made a fabulous save on Benoit.

Malone should be a lock on that fourth line, he was great all camp long.

Landeskog, Tanguay, and Satz line was also solid.

Geertsen was solid.

All the players had to get on the bus and there were a ton of fans there getting autographs and pics. I am 6'0" and EJ was an effin huge guy. I was the same height as MacKinnon, but I was taller than Duchene. Benoit was also very, very short.

Ryan O'Reilly looked like Tom Cruise in the Last Samurai and I swear he was the nicest guy there. Downie went onto the bus with a ice bag.

All the coaching staff was there with Pracey and Greg Sherman.

I got the whole shootout on video but it sucked, so there isn't much to see, other than Landy scoring, gliding backwards into the boards and eating ****.

Malone NEEDS to be an Av this year. It seemed like he was in every single play today. MacKinnon looks like he's getting frustrated very easily. There was a time I believe in the second period that Siemens was all over him in the corner and then in the front of the net preventing Nathan from getting to an open puck and Nathan turned and broke his stick over Siemen's leg. Also, McLeod gave Hejda a punch to the head near the end of the game. Intensity is picking up.
