Training camp starts on September 11 with players reporting for off ice tests. On ice is September 12. Roy confirmed this during the season ticket holders conference and its been in some articles since. It starts mid week this year rather than the normal weekend start, probably due to the Olympics.

I had a few extra days to take off before the end of the year so I took of the 12th and 13th to watch training camp. I'll be at the Burgandy and Blue game, as well as the preseason home games too.

Almost time to watch some real hockey.

So excited for this season. Absolutely cannot wait to see what the new young guys bring to camp and the Preseason.


Wish I lived in Denver so I could actually watch the training camp, but Ill be looking forward to the detailed reviews of each practice.

I think Nate's gonna absolutely tear up the pre season. He's gonna be pumped up and is just gonna blow by some of these D prospects dressed on the other teams, especially playing against 2nd or 3rd pairing matchups. I'm calling at least one hat trick game.

Ill do my best, but sounds like I won't be alone. Training camp scrimmages are usually real full but with it starting on a Thursday, maybe it won't be as busy this year.

Best part of the preseason.

Although, I find it always gets me more excited for the team than I should. Everyone seems to look better than anyone could have ever hoped. Then it always turns into another terrible year with underachievers. Hopefully it's different this year.
