Nope cause if we could go back in time, he would have been drafted in the 2011 draft real high cause he was passed over in that one

When has a small PMD who wouldn't end up playing until he was 22 ever been drafted 1st overall

I think the idea is moreso to imagine we arer drafting these kids as 22 year olds now.

Lindholm is my #1. I remember when Anaheim drafted him that high when guys like Trouba were still there, I thought they were nuts. That team likes to prove me wrong a lot!

Murray, Galchenyuk, Rielly, Lindholm, Trouba, Forsberg, Pearson, Maata, Ghost.... Just a small list of guys I would prefer over Yakupov :(

Quite frankly, knowing what we know today, I think he barely makes the first round.

I still have more faith in Rielly, Lindholm, Trouba, etc.

He could end up being the greatest offensive Dman to ever play the game, or he could be a flash in the pan that's never heard from again after this year. Whether it's unfair to him or not, it's happened too many times before this to go diving onto the bandwagon head first. Having said that, he should be the front runner for rookie of the year at this point .

Lol thanks for the laugh. If an offensive defenseman of Ghost's caliber isn't making the first round that draft better be producing double digits of hall of famers.

I would still take Galchenyuk and Forsberg before him. Expecially the way Chucky is playing, I have a feeling we will be talking alot about him next season.

He was 19 at the time of the Draft and ignored on his eligibility year.

He will never be a 1st overall, probably 1st Defense player to be drafted

Terribly incorrect.

You named 3 players. Name the other 25 that definitively go before Ghost (since ya know, he BARELY would make the 1st round i'm assuming you meet late 20's)

Here i'll even give you some help..

Forsberg..

Only 24 left!!
