2010 Rosters Under the Cap (Just for Fun)

Just for fun, what would the 2010 Olympic rosters look like if they were kept under the NHL salary cap?

Some teams would obviously be under the cap even with there best team, like Finland, Germany, Czech etc.


But for Canada, Russia, Sweden, and USA how could you keep them under the cap?

I bet the American team would be pretty damn good still seeing as some of their best players (Kesler, Parise, Okposo, Kane) are on absolute steals of contracts (or entry contracts).

Thats true.

Kessel - 2.2M, RFA this offseason
Okposo - 1.6M
Parise - 3.125M
Kane - 3.75M
Brown - 3.175M
J. Johnson - 2.15M
Suter - 3.5M
T.J Oshie - 1.275M
E. Johnson - 3.7M

Only calculating NHL contracts for next season, or if the player is UFA/RFA his current contract value, I get Sweden to 58 million plus change. But I had six players without NHL contracts which I did not include in the calculation.
