Whats this roster shaping up like right now, how many returning guys will be on it, has M. Staal made the Rangers, and will J. Staal make the team? Anybody have any idea what this team will be? Toews has another year in college ahead of him so I assume he'll be the captain, right?

What are the chances of Tavares making the team? And is Price the most likely goalie right now?

The depth chart right now I would say is:

    1) Steve Downie-Andrew Cogliano-Claude Giroux

    2) Jonathan Toews-Derrick Brassard-Tom Pyatt

    3) Devin Setoguchi*-Jordan Staal*-Chris Stewart

    4) Kendal McCardle-Ryan O'Marra-Dan Bertram

    James Sheppard

-Latendresse and Brule left off on assumption of playing in NHL
    *might make their NHL clubs

    Marc Staal*-Ryan Parent
    Luc Bourdon*-Kris Letang*
    Cody Franson-Kris Russel
    Ty Wishart-M-E Vlasic

*Might stick with their NHL clubs

    Carey Price
    Jonathan Bernier
    Leland Irving

If Ben Maxwell has a strong season (he's off to a good start) he'll make the team imo.

From what I heard Brad Marchand was very good at team Canada training camp this summer. and He's on fire so far in Quebec league (5Gp 4G 9A 13Pts).

He can be a good cadidate to make the team.

I'd like to see Daniel Ryder center Steve Downie, but with the returning players, and high draft picks eligible to play at center, I don't think he has a good shot.

Ditto for James Neal, who has 7 goals in 4 games for Plymouth so far.

What happened to MacNeill? He was at the camp over the summer right? Has he been cut already?

If CBJ puts Brassard on their AHL team, is there even a chance he would get let go for it, or does that not happen very often?

He's out after shoulder surgery, so that's a moot point.

he is injured and uneligible for the AHL. boston let bergeron play in the wjc a couple of years ago i think L.A did the same with dustin brown.

Begeron was at the WJC because of the lockout.

  21. Does Brenden Mikkelson have a chance at making it if he's healthy? he was apparently very impressive at Ducks camp..

Claude Giroux has a amazing start and might be in the mix for the scoring title in the 'Q'.

Carey Price was the best goalie at the Canadiens camp, it say a lot because the Habs have one of the best pipeline of goalies in the league.

Danis, Halak, Price and Huet at the helm. Probably not the best in the league but still a good group of tenders...as much as I hate to admit it. :shakehead
