Blackhawks did well for that draft. Besides Keith (2-54) and Wisniewski (5-156), Tallon traded Matt Ellison (4-128) for Sharp. Burish (9-282) found a place as a 4th liner and played 378 games over 9 seasons.

Caps did horrible, 3 picks in the first round and all they got was a little shot of Semin.

GMGM and his staff really didn't focus on skating enough, he had some terrible picks including Eminger and Gordon in that draft.

I think I'd have Steen at 4 when you consider the consistency and longevity. Semin was effectively done in the NHL before he hit 30 and he started at 22. Ward had a front-loaded NHL career as well.

Thankfully we picked Stoll and Greene in the second round, because man that first round pick was horrid.
