[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I thought tonight we played hockey. This is the way we need to play. At least we know what we need to do to be at this level.
We have something to compare it to because we’ve had a lot of stinkers. It was the way we played the game tonight that was very encouraging. We had the puck a lot.
We were all disappointed with the last game. To get better you need to have the right diagnosis and we knew what we didn’t do. We didn’t help each other out.
We gave our trouble to somebody else and it snowballs and you just chase the puck all night. It is tiring and not very efficient.
Tonight was one of those nights where everybody wanted to make a play and make an impact on the game individually.
- Martin St. Louis

It’s one game. We have to build off of this and be consistent. We have to go back to work tomorrow and keep improving.
It seemed evident from watching from the bench, the guys made the right plays. We kept it simple. We played defense first.
All those keys that make you play that much better.
- Rick Nash

To give him credit, Klein has found a way to find the right shots when he can get a shot through. His shots, three of his goals, he’s been right in the honey hole there.
He’s getting that shot, mostly on the blocker side there. He’s been able to find the net. Good for him. Good for our team.
- Alain Vigneault

is there any consensus on what the Rangers will be doing with Duclair?

Scum of the league with the likes of the Pens.

Hoping for a blowout like game 1 and Kreider running the goalie (cleanly) so I can feast on the tears of Habs fans.

They need to jump on this team early especially after the Habs played Boston last night.
