There are so many mocks that have NYR taking Holloway.

I love the Jack Quinn pick. Would love NYR to get one of Quinn or Jarvis if they fall that far.

i'm hoping that if Quinn or Jarvis are still there at around #20 where the Oilers pick that we can snag one of them. we need a bit more offensive minded forwards in our system.

Good list overall.

Nice haul for the Sens
Byfield
Stutzle
Schneider - I don't mind the Schneider choice but .. Lots of good options there if we ignore positional need. I also like Amirov, Holloway , Perreault and maybe Lapierre there.
Brisson - I would probably go with Peterka but I don't mind Brisson
Reichel - love the pick here
Pashin - I'll take Marat Khusnutdinov over Pashin
Benning - hmmm Could be a Sens thing to do for sure.. Of the players left on your list I would take Maxim Groshev personally.

Pashin - I'll take Marat Khusnutdinov over Pashin

I am seriously curious. I was reading the thread on Khusnutdinov and folks really like him (including draft gurus like Scouch). I realize points aren't everything, but Pashin out-produced him when they were on the same team (Hlinka and WJAC-19) and different teams in the same league. In the MK thread several mentioned that he is one of the younger players in the draft, but he and Pashin are both July birthdays.

I think MK is more of a 200 foot very good 2 way player .. Also a C and can project there. I also think production is about deployment. MK was also captain of that team at the HG so it says something about his leadership. MK is also a little bigger. Less boom or bust. Pashin is probably a bit better offensively right now but not close defensively and he had a more offensive role.

He had 29 pts in his last 26 games deployment changed.

Pashin played bigger minutes and more shifts/game.

I like the Lapierre pick for Colorado; it would be fun to see the Avs really go for it with a 'swing-for-the-fences' kinda pick like that. It's a bit risky though due to his illness, and also Colorado don't really need a C with Newhook and Bowers in the system; however, if Lapierre is sitting there at Colorado's pick that's probably too much playmaking talent to pass up.

I really hope Colorado manages to recoup at least one 2nd round pick via trades (eg. Zadorov/Jost/Graves) because there's a lot of players I like in the middle to top of the 2nd round, like Peterka, Barron, Niemelä, and Cormier (aka "Girard-lite"). With few Dmen at the top of the draft the 2nd round could be where defensemen will be good value, particularly if we see some Dmen falling into the 2nd that were projected 1st rounders, like Schneider, Wallinder, O'Rourke, and Andrae.

BPA tho. If our scouts think Lundell is better than Perfetti, then I'm fine with the pick. An excess of centers is the best problem to have
I agree but Perfetti as a high end offensive upside we desperatively needs. I like Lundell but I think Perfetti is a step ahead. He can also play center.
