I think it's way too early to put the hype train in gear. But it's great to see a kid off to a good start, even if it is a very small sample size.

Yeah, I don't see anything there to get overly excited or concerned about.

I'll wait until 15 games or so until I get excited.

Just the fact that he's playing 17 minutes per game is great for an 18 year old...even more shocking that it's happening on Frolunda.

His skating is well above his competition. That is what stood out to me. He takes good angles and uses solid positioning along the boards. Passing looked good to me too.

Lots of levels to climb, but the talent is definitely there. Hard to project anyone into the NHL IMO, but he looks pretty good to me.
