Love the idea of that Gourde - Stamkos - Johnson line. Gourde is the puck hound, Johnson the set up man and Stamkos the shooter. That fourth goal was a perfect example of what they can do. I hope they give them a few games to see if they can take off.

Pretty much, yeah. They can all score goals too. Pretty much a perfect situation if that line gels because it frees up Kucherov to play with Point and that gives us two first lines.

As with any line with Stamkos and a non-superstar give it 2 weeks before it becomes a black hole. I can't count how many times a new Stamkos line appears, looks good for a game and everyones like "omg that's perfect" for it to fade 5 games later.

Johnson doesn't have the vision of MSL to remain a consistent threat with Stamkos - could see them maybe being successful if playing a rush type game but I imagine their cycling game will be horrible.
