McQuaid went after him every time they played each other for the rest of his career and that douche never answered the bell. I so badly wanted to see that guy get what he had coming. The way he behaved in this game and after was the perfect display of exactly what that Canucks team was all about

i think some of the Canuck fans stayed in the rink due to the events already starting up outside.

i'm guessing there were a lot more Bs fans at that game than there were Hawks or Blues fans at those ones. But yeah, i turned both of those games off at the final horn

The happiest night of my 40+ years of following sports. This was a special night for a special team, and the fact that the game was relatively drama-free for the final period made it moreso. Loved this team.

Couple thoughts rewatching that game:

-Man I hated these Habs-like wuss Vancouver losers. So many punchable faces.

-Bergeron goal was very good for my nerves.

-Chara redeemed himself saving a goal after his turnover to keep it 1-0.

-Great play by Seguin to stay onside seconds before the Marchand 2-0 goal.

-Bergeron PK goal sealed the Cup. Thomas was excellent in that game and no way he was going to allow 4.

-What a stupid penalty by Hansen early in the 3rd. Not that the Bruins were going to do anything with it. Removed 2min.

-Perfect D game in the 3rd. Canucks didn’t get anything going.

-Marchand EN was the cherry.

Eat that Vancouver!

That guy had balls. I walked around in my Bruins jersey and face paint after the game 2 loss and that was pretty stressful. Lots of drunk younger dudes coming up to me and pretending to act tough. I had no interest in being around there before or after game 7.
