Do you live in Tampa and often find yourself bored at night time? If so, come see the Ben Bishop show, formerly known as the T.B. Lightning:laugh:

Detroit will make the playoffs with a losing record.

in fairness, they are 1-5 in shootouts. That's 29-20-11 after tonight, but adjusted for shootouts, they're a not-really-terrible 28-26 with six ties. Nonetheless, they have gone to overtime an awful lot, haven't they? Because they're +7 on TB in the loser point department.

Losing is losing. They're gaining points without gaining Ws.

I get that on the broader scale, yes. I just can't take shootout results seriously, which is why I'm always adjusting records to remove shootouts from them. After playing an opponent to a tie over 65 minutes, I really can't, in good faith, say that the results of a skills competition mean one team "beat" the other.

Still, TB is 30-23-6 while Detroit is 28-26-6, by my method, so it is frustrating for the Red Wings to remain nipping on the heels when the Lightning's record is 2.5 games better.

Good to see Stammer and Callahan finding the net lately. Both guys have come up big to justify their salaries. Now they just need to keep it up long term and into the playoffs where it matters most.

Big win, glad Cally is starting to find the back of the net. We need all the scoring we can get. Only watched a little of the game but 81-9-18 looked good from what I saw

I really like that line. In fact I wouldn't mind seeing us trying this if we need to whenever Kuch gets healthy.

Kucherov Stamkos Callahan
Jam TJ Palat
Killorn Filpulla Namestnikov/brown
Pacquette Boyle Brown/Namestnikov

Agreed. I think Kuch-Stamkos-Cally could be pretty good

Why are Callahan and Marchessault in the top 6 but Killorn, Namestnikov or Brown aren't? They've been better then those two throughout the entire year.

Some big fan of the team last year, who hasn't paid attention at all this year, probably made that sign.

just noticed palát got a roughing penalty at the end of the game. what did he do? i thought he isn't that type of player :D

Honestly that was great for us. We were pinned in the zone and he forced them to take matching minors, which gave us a much needed change.
