I don't think that is the case. The league has allowed coaches to take over the game. If players don't play the system, they sit on the bench. Get out of position defensively to try to generate offense, you get yelled at. System, system, system. Individual skill and natural game dynamics have been sniffed out in the name of playing a system. There int a team in the league that doesn't collapse on the net in 1 way or another. Shot blocking is being preached as if it is gospel. The league needs to do something similar to when it started calling obstruction penalties. The current on ice product is boring. It isn't just the Bruins either, I would say that about 2/3 of the games being played today are snoozefests.

He was a surprise last year-and honestly I think he was better with Spooner who had speed than he is with Krejci. I also think he needs to grow some muscle and would benefit from the AHL right now.
