Confirmed.

I wanted to have two generational talents in eichel and Mcdavid, and With the emergence of Larkin and some other young players on my roster, I feel this was an opportunity that I could not give up.

Also with the new keeper rule, I felt like It's important to get quality for my future, having two obvious franchise tags after the rookie year.

Simply, I wanted to go the "Brock" route, having crosby and AO. Taking a big gamble for it, if the 1st turns into matthews.

Cory schneider is also young, he will cornerstone my goalie situation for the next long while.

The key to this trade is youth, I traded 3 star players who were up in age, and a 1st for the best player since crosby.

All 3 of my keepers I traded are old, Kane is the youngest of the bunch. My keepers are still pretty obvious.

I replace Kane with Larkin, Mcdavid with Getzlaf, and lundqvist with David Krejci

Keeper - Cory Schneider - Elite Goalie
Keeper - Keith Yandle - Elite D
Keeper - Dylan Larkin - Rookie Star forward
Keeper - Jordan Eberle - Star Forward
Keeper - David Krejci - Star forward
Keeper - Milan Lucic - Star forward

Not exactly a bad group, tons of youth and potential.

Only thing I regret losing is the 1st rounder. But if it does not turn into Austin Matthews, It's all fine with me.

CRD I'm watching Red Heat with Arnold Schwarzenegger as a Georgian Cop. It's very informative about the world you're going to tomorrow.

Pardon my silence. I'm mourning for the loss of Luc's chances in the next 3-4 years. Balls 2.0.

I get the strategy, it's just...when I traded for Ovechkin, he wasn't a rookie, and I had other established players. You're playing it from a much longer angle, which could still pay off, but could be pretty rough and you might just end up where you started with 3 years wasted.

P.S. I think Victor might be outperforming Tuuka
