[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

It’s a tough situation, back to back my first two games. I’m trying to find my game. Again, first goal, that’s a huge mistake and it ends up in the back of our net.
I’m not blind to the fact that I’m going to make mistakes here but I’ve got to do my best to rebound and find consistency.
It’s something I’ve got to do is find my game quickly.
- Derek Stepan

It might be our 2nd or 3rd wake-up call. I felt like the game against the Wild was definitely a wake-up call for us, on the way we cannot play and how we should play with energy.
When the energy is not there, it’s hard to play this game. We need to raise our level. There’s no other way around it.
- Henrik Lundqvist

I felt prior to the weekend we were on the right track, but this game has a funny way of kicking you right where you least expect it sometimes.
After Saturday you’re expecting your group to come back and show the character and leadership you know they have.
Disappointing would be the understatement of the week.
- Alain Vigneault

Not feeling this one. There's no holes in Pittsburgh's lineup where you can hide that 3rd pair.

The Rangers showed last spring how soft the Pens are mentally!
But if i recall, McD had his teeth firmly planted in Crosby's behind that entire game. Giving the job to Kostka or Hunwick may not produce the same results :p:

That said, i hope that they'll come out flying and with a desire to "avenge" the last few results.

2 of the next 3 games vs what people say are 2 of the best in the world....

I fear we're in for a rough ride this week...

Patric Hornqvist is also aon fire so far...

Please sit Glass? I expect Duclair to sit if Fast is in, but hopefully I'm wrong.

Also, come on guys. No one actually believes there is a chance Glass will sit yet do they? Not only are they playing a former employer, Duke is due for an arbitrary benching.

if they play like against the oilers 7-1 to pittsburgh, if they play like the names on their jerseys my guess is 3-2 in OT
