Anaheim is in a win now mode, Zero chance that Murray trades Vatanen for the 14OA pick especially in a weak draft. Anaheim doesn't need picks so that does them no good.

Best bet would be to wait till the expansion draft. See who's out there and make a deal with Vegas. 14th + Killorn should be enough to give us a pick of the top defender available.

Vegas makes sense as they'll have plenty to choose from in the expansion draft

Pre-expansion draft is a possibility. Frees up a protection slot + you don't take any salary back.

Of course the problem is Tampa is not in a position to take on salary without sending some the other way.

Or DK for 14OA plus Callahan/Garrison/Other cap dump. I recognize Garrison is still somewhat effective so we'd throw in a pick or some retention or something to equalize value.
